The treatment, curing of any disease always begins
with diagnosis. Diagnosis begins with full, not partial biological
knowledge.
Diagnosis identifies symptoms.
Symptoms identify function.
Function identifies structure.
Structure defines treatment (food, herbs, drugs, exercise, sex, etc)
Every structure is nutrient, food, herb, drug, exercise, sex, etc.
specific.
All structures and their associated functions work
together and many times share similar symptoms, diseases.
Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia,
Plantar Fasciitis and the common cold are five different diseases that
share not only similar symptoms: pain, inflammation and or numbness in
the arms and legs, bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, etc. but
also blood.
All disease is defined by its symptoms.
Symptoms identify function (function produces symptoms)
Function identifies structure (structure produce function)
Food, nutrients, blood identifies, produces structure.
The body digests, transforms food, nutrients into
blood into structure into function, into health or disease. There are
only two kinds of nutrients, foods: building and cleansing. Building
foods, nutrients build and fuel all structure and function. Cleansing
foods, nutrients reduce, cleanse, cool and moisten. The balance of
life, health is generally more building (98.6) than cleansing.
Food> digestion> absorption>
blood> structure> function> health or disease
Blood (nutrients and non-nutrients) builds, fuels,
moistens, cleanses, cools and warms all structure and function. A
certain amount of blood, nutrients (oxygen, protein, fat, water, etc.)
is required to sustain all structure, function.
Any amount less, in the extreme, tends to cause:
dryness and inflammation (blood is moistening), coldness (blood is
warming), pain, weakness, numbness and or shaking (blood builds and
fuels).
The extremities are always the first to suffer
blood deficiency, as they are not vital organs. The common cold, caught
during winter is the perfect example as it produces not only
respiratory symptoms but also pain, numbness, inflammation, coldness
and or shaking in the extremities.
An external attack of cold temperatures (winter,
air conditioning) tends to cause a reversal, retreat of blood flow from
extremities, hands and feet to the abdomen and chest, to protect and
nourish vital organs, at the same it leaves the extremities with less
blood, energy, fuel, warmth, etc. causing the aforementioned symptoms
in addition to coughing, mucous, stiff shoulders, etc.
Pain, inflammation, numbness, etc. in the
extremities are also common to Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis,
Fibromyalgia and Plantar Fasciitis. Blood deficiency and or blood
stagnation can cause these symptoms, diseases Anemic diets (under
built, low protein, low fat, high carbohydrate) in the extreme tends to
reduce the supply, production of blood, and in the extreme, tends to
produce pain, inflammation, coldness, weakness, numbness, shaking, etc.
Many women tend to eat anemic diets (high
carbohydrate, low protein and low fat). They also menstruate (monthly
blood loss) from menarche to menopause (40+ years). This combination
increases the likelihood of blood deficiency (fatigue, pain,
inflammation, numbness, heat and or coldness). It also tends to weaken
digestion (abdominal bloating, pain, gas and burping), elimination
(loose stools, diarrhea and constipation), reproduction (infertility,
miscarriage, short term pregnancy, etc.), emotions (depression, fear
and hysteria), memory and immunity. Red meat is the number one blood
builder.
Blood stagnation in the liver can also be a cause.
All blood flows in and out the liver. The liver stores, cleanses and
releases the blood. Its cleansing function removes excess protein and
fat. Diets, high in protein and fat (thick, sticky nutrients) in
excess, tend to the clog the liver reducing its cleansing and
distributing function. More protein and fat, cholesterol collects into
the bloodstream, arteries, veins, heart and brain. More blood flows
into the liver than out. This not only causes the liver to swell but
also reduces blood supply circulation to the extremities, hands and
feet, ligaments, tendons, bones, etc, causing pain, dryness,
inflammation, coldness, etc. This scenario is common among men.
Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia,
Plantar Fasciitis and the common cold are five different "diseases"
that not only share similar symptoms and locations but also causes
(blood deficiency, blood stagnation, poor diet. etc.). It is the
"cause" which you must cure, remove, when curing disease; otherwise,
the disease, symptoms continue to grow, in one form or another.
Diagnosis identifies symptoms, diseases.
Symptoms, diseases identify structure and function.
Structure and function identify diet, nutrition, food, herbs, exercise,
climate, etc.
Many autoimmune illnesses (Irritable Bowel
Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, AIDS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Chronic fatigue
Syndrome, Crohn's Disease, etc.) have similar symptoms: abdominal
bloating, gas, loose stools, constipation, fatigue, mucous, phlegm,
fatigue and pain in addition to a weak immune system.
Most autoimmune system disorders are caused by
poor diet (low protein, low fat and high carbohydrate, in the extreme).
Poor diet decreases weakens digestion, elimination, immunity,
reproduction, locomotion, memory, etc.
Women more than men tend to suffer autoimmune
disorders due to inappropriate diet: low protein, low fat and high
carbohydrate (raw, cold) and menstruation (blood loss). Both create
blood, protein and fat deficiency symptoms, diseases.
Every diagnosis eventually comes down to building
(overbuilt) and cleansing (under built) as everything builds up and
breaks down. The correct amount of building and cleansing produces and
maintains the correct amount of structure and function where the body
mind can thrive. Any amounts, greater of less, in the extreme, tend to
weaken, sicken and pain the body mind via too much (overbuilt) or too
little (under built) blood structure and function.
Every thing builds up and breaks down.
The blood, bones, skin, muscles, tendons,
ligaments, hair, skin, liver, spleen, heart, lungs, brain, sex organs,
hormones, blood, mucous, water, etc. build up and break down. Disease
occurs when any of these parts, structures build up or break down too
much (overbuilt) or too little (under built, over cleansed).
Every remedy (herb, food, supplement, exercise,
drug, emotion, etc.) has an overall building (includes heating, drying,
energizing) or cleansing (includes cooling, moistening, slowing) nature.
Every gender has an overall building (male) or
cleansing (female) nature.
Every season has an overall building (spring,
summer) or cleansing (fall, winter) nature.
Building (hot, yang) and cleansing (cold, yin) are
a simple yet effective diagnosis.
